Preventive health check-ups

Screening that finds diabetes, high blood pressure and heart risk early, before they cause harm. Planned around local needs, close to home.

Many serious conditions give no warning until they cause damage.

High blood sugar, high blood pressure and raised cholesterol rarely make people feel unwell at first. By the time symptoms appear, they may already have harmed the eyes, heart or kidneys.

A regular check-up finds these problems while they can still be managed with treatment and lifestyle changes. Community health is more than eyesight, so our screening goes beyond the eyes.

Health check-ups: common questions

Can’t find your answer? Ask for a call back and we’ll talk it through.

Do I need to fast before a blood test?

For some tests, such as fasting blood glucose and a lipid profile, you may be asked not to eat for 8 to 12 hours beforehand. Water is usually fine. We tell you exactly what to do when you book.

How will I get my results?

You receive a clear report, and the findings are explained to you. If anything needs attention, we tell you what the next step is and help you arrange a consultation or further tests.

Who carries out ECG and X-ray tests?

ECG and X-ray are provided through appropriate clinical and diagnostic arrangements with accredited partners, so every test is done and reported by qualified professionals.

Can I book a check-up for my parents or my whole family?

Yes. Families often book together, especially for older parents and anyone with diabetes or high blood pressure. Tell us who is coming when you request a call back.
