About HealthHusk: eye care closer to home

Health Husk India Private Limited is a healthcare company bringing eye care and preventive health screening closer to rural and underserved communities in India.

A future where every person, wherever they live, has access to essential, affordable and timely healthcare.

Our vision

We envision a healthcare system that reaches underserved communities, reduces preventable vision loss, promotes early diagnosis, and empowers people to take charge of their health.

Our mission

To bridge the healthcare accessibility gap by establishing modern, community-based Primary Vision Centres integrated with tele-ophthalmology and preventive healthcare services. Through early screening, timely diagnosis, affordable treatment and structured referral pathways, we aim to bring quality healthcare closer to the people who need it most.

Healthcare at the community level

Healthcare should not be limited by distance, transport, money or a lack of awareness. Our Primary Vision Centres are the first point of contact for eye care in the community.

Equipped with modern diagnostic technology and tele-ophthalmology, they identify eye conditions early, provide essential eye care, and refer people to tertiary hospitals when they need specialist treatment or surgery.

Beyond eye care, our preventive screening programmes identify health risks in the community, so people reach the right medical evaluation and treatment at an earlier stage.

What our model is built on

Six principles guide how we plan centres, run camps and follow people through their care.

Accessibility
Bringing essential healthcare services closer to people's homes.
Early detection
Identifying potential health problems before complications develop.
Affordability
Working towards cost-effective healthcare for underserved populations.
Technology
Connecting primary-level services with specialist expertise through telehealth.
Continuity of care
Facilitating timely referrals, treatment access and follow-up.
Community awareness
Promoting preventive healthcare and encouraging regular screening.
